The Southern Sky.
This is my very first time in the Southern Hemisphere and the sky is nothing like the northern sky. Some of the guides at the safari camp pointed out the following to me: the Southern Cross, Alpha and Beta Centauri, Jupiter, Venus, and Scorpio. Oh - and the Milky Way, too! If I get lost in the bush I can find north using geometry the southern cross and alpha and beta centauri. Now, no worries.
